La Bodega is not typical mexican fare,
and it's not tex-mex either.
It's just La Bodega.

La Bodega is located on Northgate in College
Station, Texas, far enough from the madness of the bars, but close
enough to have a night on the town without having to get back in
your car. We also offer one of the few covered patios in town.
Baja, referring to Baja California where they favor black beans
over refried, soft corn tortillas over fried or flour tortillas,
and sauces which are usually a little milder and sweeter, because
of the tropical nature of the area. habanero mango sauce or cilantro-lime
sauce. Fresh seafood is shipped in 2-3 times a week. Salmon,
tilapia, shrimp, crawfish to name a few.
With the exception of cafe eccell, no
other restaurant uses homemade sweet and sour (fresh lemon and
lime juice) for their margaritas, makes homemade sangria, purees
watermelon to make our watermelon margaritas, or can make a mojito
properly from scratch.
Probably our most underrated feature at bodega. If you ever get
tired of pancakes, then we have over 20 breakfast items available
every weekend that you absolutely cannot find anywhere else in
the Brazos Valley.
We started it a year ago and are well on our way to being open
late every night of the week. Llive bands every Wednesday through
Saturday.
